"Releaxed Mexican Downbeats | Slowly crawls the gaucho out of his hammock, grabs his guitar and plays some melodic riffs for us. The hashoil circulates through his venes and a relaxed and easygoing mood lets him find some delicate melodies. Meanwhile his friends nod smiling to the smooth downbeats. Live can be so sweet. While I am sitting in the centre of Tokyo, while I see all the hectic on the street, Cri-Kong makes me smile and relax. Again lovely downbeats from Konfort Netlabel, lots of tunes and a nearly sedating groove paints pictures in my head. Grab these three wonderful songs and take a downtime. Five stars and “Ola Mexico! "Mexiko 2005 - Sancho, der unrasierte Gaucho sattelt seinen alten Gaul, träufelt sich etwas Hasch-Öl auf seine selbst gedrehte Zigarette und reitet entspannt an mannshohen Kakteen und getrockneten Grasbüscheln vorbei, dem wunderschönen Sonnenuntergang entgegen. Wenn man sich den ersten Track Floripondia der Hash Oil EP von Cri-Kong anhört kann man sich diese Filmszene lebhaft vorstellen. Die niedrige Geschwindigkeit des Beats bekommt durch die funky- als auch “hawaiianisch” eingesetzte Gitarre einen enorm groovenden Lauf, die Bassline im Kontrabass-Sound gibt dem Titel die Coolness und die Hammond-Orgel ähnlichen Organs runden den Track schließlich ab. Auch die beiden anderen Songs der EP überzeugen durch ihre entspannt lässige und (future-)jazzige Atmosphäre, sowie dem gekonntem Einsatz der Gitarre und machen aus diesen kostenlosen mp3 Release unter CC-Lizenz einen ganz besonders reizvollen Download.". blog.rebellen.info
