Androide

Androide was set up in 2000 in Cd. Juárez, Chihuahua Mexico. It is conceived as a project that could generate any musical idea at the expense of electronics. And mixes the kitsch, the pop, the breaks and the post rock, using its rock root with electronic layers of programmed rhythms and synthesizers. In its lifetime they have 3 edited LP, “normal” in 2001, “Panacea” in 2003 and the newest one “Prazer” in 2005. The Androide’s music appears in the short film “Historia del Desierto” by Celia Galan Julve. This film was nominated to the Palme d’Or award in the Cannes Festival. In addition, Androide has participated in compilations in London with Tequila Cuervo side by side with Pinker Tones; in the compile edited in Spain “Electronic Latin Freaks” (Subterfuge Records); all together with Kinky, Titán, Capri and Fussible and at last in “The now sound of Mexico” (King a Groove Records), bring out in Canada all together with Fase, Terrestre and Wakal.
